Library Thing

What a great tool! this is a wonderful site for booklovers. I have joined and created my own little library, I found some good books. This is one that I will go back to when I have more time

Image Generators

Had a great play around with this! my favourite was http://liftmagic.com/ which is a "facelift visualization studio"Had a lot of fun with this, you get an image of someones face, and you can give it a brow life, cheek life, nose reduction...and the list goes on. My model was Keith Richards, and he was a great one too!

Wiki Sandbox

Added my blog to favorites,Had fun playing and exploring WIki, its a great way to share info and a fun way also. Theres some great stuff out there!

I liked "the booklovers wiki" that Princeton public library developed, It is full of book reviews. This is a fun way to use a wiki. I also liked the comments that the library says about why they set up the wiki, because it gives the community the opportunity to experiment and learn about new technologies and I agree with them, it is a good thing.

Web 2.0, Library 2.0

Theres no doubt that Web 2.0 has enchanced libraries in their services, Libraries can deliver so much more to our customers, and its constantly changing for the better.

I am also pleased that I am doing this Web 2.0 programme because I am understanding more about whats out there, and will be able to help out and relate to our customers.
